Clean, cozy and a charming property close to all amenities!
This was barely ski in/ski out - more of a "walk to lift" type of home. Both lifts are slightly downhill walk of 5 min or so. Which means back it's uphill. We were able to walk to the "ski out" section at the end of the neighborhood by the Blue Sky sign, but once you got there it's still a walk to the actual hill to ski down to the lift. Also not for beginners. My kids were able to do it with little complaining, just not as easy as I expected it to be. To ski back it's best to take the second sign (green one) off of lower sawmill, but with low snow and icy conditions this is not for a beginner. However it does cut about 3 min of walking from Beaver lift if you decide to walk from there. The home was quite nice. There are temp controls on each floor and I was able to get it quite comfortable. The beds are as uncomfortable as others said, but we were able to deal with it. They could definitely use an upgrade. The hot tub just a few feet way was nice. Bring flip flops as running in the snow was cold. The heated garage was absolute gold. We left boots and skis in it, and being able to pack/unpack from right there was worth every penny. I would stay again. The price point was good for being so close to the lifts (even though it was a walk).
We were looking for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo close to the lifts, and this condo fit the bill. The only disappointment was the pictures of the deck and the description gave the impression there was a grill, which is not the case, and the mattress in the primary bedroom is in desperate need of an upgrade. Other than that, everything worked great for our stay
It was an easy walk to both Beaver Run and Snowflake lifts. It was very clean. The living area is very comfortable. Downside is that there is no powder room on the main floor. All the bathrooms are on the bedroom level. This is a small thing. It was a great stay.
Beautiful condo. Beautiful location. It was clean, quiet, bright, and comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Loved the balcony with table and chairs. Grounds were beautiful with blooming flowers everywhere and lots of trees! Beds were comfortable, check-in and check-out were seamless. We stayed in summertime, but I can see how great this place would be in the winter for skiers, with its gas fireplace, lots of places to store your skis and equipment, and easy access to lifts! My only suggestions for improvement would be that they need to install a deadbolt on the front door and fix the door from the garage into the house so that it latches. There was no bbq grill, (which was in the description and we had intended to use) and the community swimming pool and hot tubs by the pool were really dirty with cloudy water and algae growing all over the steps leading into the pool and around the edges. The hot tub by the condo, however, was clean. Despite those things, we loved the condo and would definitely stay here again!
The property was great. You’re next to two great trails if you’re interested in hiking. It is a little hike to town but there is free transportation but we didn’t use it we enjoyed the hike. The place was cozy and was great to be able to cook and unwind. There is a hot tub right next to the unit a big plus not to have to walk far.
