The cabin was great.. spacious, clean & comfortable. The two hot springs are awsome & the river & mountain view just beathtaking.
We have come here twice now, and will definitely come back. My husband had a great '#fish:time spent fishing' ratio this latest trip which cramped my 'husband away' time lol, but was still so great. We also had free rein for the hot springs!! We Love this peaceful place
We had the best time visiting Filoha Meadows. The goal of the weekend was for my husband to catch some fish and he spent most of the weekend walking up and down the river fishing (he caught some too!) there was about a mile of private river for him to run around on. It was private and just gorgeous. While my husband was fishing I spent my time reading, watching the mountains with the binoculars, or hanging out in the hot tubs. At night we also hung out in the hot tubs and watched the stars, there was no light pollution and we were able to see the Milky Way and shooting stars! Mike (property manager guy) was so nice everytime we saw him. He checked in to see if we needed anything and you can tell he takes pride in what he does. The cabin itself had pretty much everything we needed. We brought extra paper towels and toilet paper but there was plenty at the cabin for us to use. Our last day we got to watch a helicopter make repeated trips from the meadow up to the top of the mountain ridge delivering supplies to a service station, which was very cool. We also drove down to Redstone to see the coal ovens. Originally we'd planned to explore the Redstone area a bit more during the weekend but ultimately decided to stay on the property instead since it was so nice. Overall we will 1000% visit again. Having such a quiet, private weekend in nature was amazing and we were so sad to have to come back to our normal lives.
Mike was extremely sweet, kind and helpful. The space is enough to go back but so are the owners.
The property is amazing. This was our fourth stay so we knew what we were walking into. Absolutely beautiful streams and Hot Springs. Very clean and comfortable.
Fantastic location with amazing views. Guest rep was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
