We love gold rivers. Have stayed there for years. A few suggestions are. Replace kitchen rug. It's old and tattered. Replace pillows bc stained and flat. Investing in a decent coffee pot. Both struggle with coffee grounds spilling and overflowing. Maybe a Keurig coffee pot. Replacing screen on back door. Adding additional tea towels. The blue ones are very old and need at least a couple more. The lock on back door is weird but we learned correct way to open and close. Again, our favorite place to stay in Basalt! Our group found the condo in Basalt to be first rate. Out balcony faced the Roaring Fork River and we all enjoyed after fishing cocktails while listening to the river below us. We had a short walk to the shops and restaurants. Very enjoyable. Would definitely stay there again.

We skied at Snowmass, an easy 15-20 minute drive from Basalt. We really enjoyed walking around Basalt before dinner, lots of history and good food/drinks close by. Perfect for a 2-night stay.
