Overview
A fantastic location and a private hot tub are just some amenities this Snowmass Village vacation rental offers. Located directly on the slopes in Snowmass, you'll have plenty of options when you're ready to ski and snowboard in the winter. One can walk to and from the slopes and ski to the lifts - adventurous skiers could ski-off at the end of the day and walk to this house - but likely most folks would need to drive from the house to the bottom of the hill for parking and access to the lifts and gondola. Carry your gear and head out the door to meet up with the nearby intermediate slope, or drive one mile down the mountain to the base of Snowmass Village. And if you're not here for snow sports, don't worry! There are plenty of other activities year-round at your fingertips. Stunning hiking and biking trails are within walking distance, as are delicious eateries and shops. Take a day to raft and fish in the Roaring Fork River 33 miles away, book a hot air balloon ride, or even catch the weekly rodeo. Rent this home during the height of the Aspen/Snowmass festival season for events like Jas Aspen/Snowmass, the Aspen Music Festival, and the Aspen Food & Wine Classic.
Rustic charm and chic modern touches meet in this cozy mountain home, accompanied by hexagonal tile floors and tongue-and-groove pine on the ceiling and walls. Enter to the middle level to find the main living area with an enormous wood fireplace framed by natural stone and soft furnishings atop a large area rug. Play board games, soak in the private hot tub, or spend an evening watching movies on the living room's cable TV while the fireplace crackles in the background.
All the major appliances in the kitchen nook include small appliances such as a slow cooker, microwave, coffeemaker, and coffee grinder. Cleanup is a snap with the dishwasher provided! The modern dining room table can seat ten, or when the weather permits, step through the French doors to enjoy your meal on the back deck while breathing fresh mountain air.
Perfect for a small family, the lowest floor is a studio suite. A dining table sits in the middle of a full kitchen, with plenty of cabinets for storing goodies and major and small appliances. There is an inviting sitting area with a sofa and chairs facing a cable TV.
Keep linens fresh with a private washer/dryer.
Take your next mountain retreat or reunion to the next level with this Northwest Colorado vacation rental.

Our group of 8 guys stayed at the house in early Feb 2025. Check in/out was easy and everything was as expected. We chose this house because it was a good value for the location. VRBO listed the house as Ski in/out but this is not accurate. Access to the slopes was an uphill walk so we had someone drive us up the hill leaving one person (the youngest!) to make the walk. You can get close to the house skiing back then taking a short downhill walk. The house is a bit dated and shows some signs of normal wear and tear. The kitchen is small but had everything we needed to cook all our meals at the house.
We had a great trip. The house is about 150 yards walking to get on a groomed slope. No big deal. Coming back is a little bit closer. If you can walk a bit in ski boots, this was doable. There was plenty of room (as described), not skimpy on shampoo or soap etc. The kitchen had also many utensils, herbs, and some basic starter food (rice, coffee filters, etc) so you didn't have to buy every single item, which we appreciated. They also came and shoveled the path to the jacuzzi and the patio! That was very nice. We had an issue with the garbage that wasn't picket up, but the management company solved that. Overall, we had a great stay.
Great location. 5 minute walk to the Adams Avenue trail just below the Alpine Springs lift. Sleeps 7 comfortably. Great hot tub and all in all a great house to hang out at apres ski. Could use some TLC, but couldn't we all?
Our group of 11 loved staying at the Wood house. The house is a little dated, but the pictures represent it well, so we knew what we were getting. Most importantly, I think the house is a fantastic value, considering the location, the amenities and the space it provided for our fairly-large group. Everything in the house was in working order, and most importantly, the heating worked well across every level. The hot tub was a great experience, and incredibly, without us asking for it, it was serviced half-way through our stay, so it was always clean. I can't say enough good things about this house - you cannot get a better value/experience in Snowmass!
Rustic cabin in a great location. We had a large group of family- some attending a conference at Snowmass Village, some working remotely with excellent wifi and lots of great skiing in between all! Easy access to the village and restaurants, great access to the slopes and relaxing environment for evening activities. We will definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Old family cabin, cute, and cozy, but dated. It is a nice location in the resort, and we enjoyed the fireplace; however, for our visit, the wifi was not reliable, and the hot tub was not clean, even after a chemical shock treatment. Overall, we were happy to be away as a family of 4, but this house took an unreasonable amount of our vacation time to deal with the sparce kitchen set up, the lack of wifi, the front door lock that didn't work, the lack of access to the hot tub and lastly the managements miscommunication of accurate check out time.
