The location simply can't be beat at this chic townhome downtown Steamboat Springs, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, bars, walking and hiking trails, and minutes to the mountain. Grab a cup of coffee and step outside onto your covered deck for some of that bright blue mountain sunshine first thing in the morning. Breakfast is a breeze, thanks to the modern kitchen with beautiful, solid-wood cabinets, granite countertops, and a full suite of stainless steel appliances. Dine together at the table for four, and then head out to explore. Guests of the Alpenglow condos have access to the Gondola Ski Club, a large, custom ski locker where you can stash your gear, so you don't have to worry about carrying it around every day of your vacation.

Return in the evening to get cozy in front of that gorgeous gas fireplace while you watch the lights come up in town through your floor-to-ceiling picture window. Grab a spot on that leather sofa and watch some TV, or grab a board game for a bit more together time. If you've got any remote work to catch up on, the desk in the loft upstairs is the perfect spot. Head off to bed after one perfect day in Steamboat, with another to come tomorrow.

The location was excellent, we were able to walk to the river, restaurants, grocery store, hot springs. Perfect size for our family of four, everything was clean

The view from the livingroom is of a building (under construction), not Howleson ski area anymore. It may have changed since we booked but the mountain view is still in the listing. There was also a bad smell when we checked in, I think the previous renter may have cooked some strong smelling foods. We drowned it out with a candle and it was gone after a day or so. Complaints aside, the location is great and the condo is well appointed. We were only 3 people but 5-6 could be comfortable. Bus stop is one block away and you are literally surrounded buy restaurants.

The house was very clean and comfortable we loved being in town and close to everything. Garage parking was a plus also. There was lots of construction noise and the check out at 10a.m, we thought a bit unreasonable since we stay at many places with check outs at noon so you can enjoy the morning leisurely. If not for those, we would have given 5 stars.

The proximity to the ski area bus is terrific, and having a ski locker at the gondola club is primo! House was furnished in a comfortable casual style, and the kitchen had all the stuff we needed to make meals at home. Being on the Yampa with the view of Howelsen Hill made every morning a delight, and a perfect place for walking the dog. Highly recommend!

Great location to all shops, restaurants, bars, brewery and coffee shops in the little downtown. Less than 10 minute drive to the resort for skiing and 20 minutes to strawberry hot springs. Could not have asked for a better location. Parking in the garage is tricky if you anything bigger than an Audi Q5, we had to fold in our mirrors for clearance. We will definitely be staying here again for our next trip to Steamboat.
