Trappeurs Lodge 1206 is described as a great value and a wonderful place to stay, with a comfortable layout that guests found well suited for families and groups. Guests appreciated the spacious feel, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, nice furnishings, soft bedding, and a kitchen stocked with basic tools for cooking. The condo was frequently praised for being very clean, well maintained, and in very good shape. Its location was a standout, with easy walking access to the mountain, restaurants, and shops, along with convenient access to the base area. Guests repeatedly enjoyed the shared pool and hot tubs, free laundry, grills, parking options, and the frequent shuttle service that made getting around especially easy. Friendly front desk staff, smooth check-in, and inviting common areas added to the overall positive experience.

Overview

Trappeur's Lodge at Trappeur's Crossing Resort sits just one and a half blocks from the base of Steamboat Ski Resort; there's a paved walkway that takes you directly from the building to the gondola, and to dining, shopping, and nightlife along the new base area promenade.

This complex has many wonderful amenities, including outdoor and indoor heated pools, multiple hot tubs, tennis courts, a sauna, a fitness facility, an outdoor fire ring, an outdoor kitchen with grills, and a heated underground parking garage - so you don't have to worry about cleaning the snow off your car! There's also a private shuttle (in winter) that can take you back and forth from the base of the ski resort, to the grocery store, or into downtown Steamboat Springs for shopping and dining later in the evening. You can definitely get away without having a rental car in this location!

This three-bedroom, three-bathroom condo has a living room with a gas fireplace, a flatscreen TV, a DVD player, and a leather couch and chairs. The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need to prepare a great meal for family and friends, and the dining area features both a kitchen table and additional bar seating. At night, the primary bedroom has a queen bed, a flatscreen TV, and an attached full bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a flatscreen TV, and the third bedroom features full-size bunks, a flatscreen TV, and an attached full bathroom. The living room also has a sleeper sofa for additional accommodations.

There's a separate ski storage locker in the entry area and shared laundry facilities in the building. This condo is a great option for families who want all the conveniences and amenities of a resort property in a great location just a short walk from the ski resort.

Great stay at Trappeurs Lodge 1206 in Steamboat Springs! Check-in was a breeze, the unit was clean, and the location was perfect. The free shuttle was super convenient, and the heated pool and hot tub were exactly what we needed after a day on the slopes. We did run into a couple of plumbing hiccups during our stay, but maintenance was responsive. Overall a lovely property with a lot going for it — we'd consider coming back!

We looked at a number of properties and were glad we decided on Trappeurs. The property was within walking distance to some restaurants and a carry out. The shuttle to the slopes runs constantly and the proximity of the property to the base meant very little wait time to get there and back. Shuttle was quick to respond to after hours requests to and from the downtown restaurants and the grocery stores. We took the bus a couple times as well and found that to be convenient. The stop is right outside the complex. Finally, we enjoyed the multiple hot tubs option and the heated pool.

Perfect spot for our group of 6 for a long ski weekend. Condo was clean, amenities were as advertised, and shuttle to the village was very easy to navigate.

This is an awesome property! Less than 10 minute walk to the gondola (in ski boots, carrying skis), but why walk when the shuttle comes very frequently and is door to door. The unit is super nice and comfortable, feels new, kept clean, the common areas are excellent (hot tubs, lounges, work areas, etc.), and the staff is friendly and helpful. We will be back!

This unit has a good location close to the slopes and was a good landing place for our 4 day stay in SBS. It was very clean upon check-in and the kitchen was nicely furnished. It does not have air conditioning and the middle bedroom with bunk beds got stuffy as there were no windows to the outdoors. They do provide a fan in each BR. The outdoor pool area is nice with three hot tubs, although it was difficult to find lounge chairs that were not torn or in disrepair. The pool could used daily vacuuming as it got dirty within the three days we were there. The put on some fun activities around the pool such as a Thursday welcome reception with beverages and food and an ice cream treat hour. All in all the summer rates are very fair and it was a good place to stay for smaller groups.
