Yampa View 305

The view is spectacular overlooking the town and expansive mountain landscape. Best sunset and the lights on the trees were beautiful. The condo had everything we needed and the beds gave us a good nights sleep. We played games that were there and enjoyed family time in the living room looking out over the view. We threw on our ski/ride gear and the shuttle was right outside our door and we didn’t have to wait long at all. Listing indicates unit is a minute to the ski resort but definitely take the shuttle. It was my first time to Steamboat and I loved the live music on Saturday at the base and a cook your own steak experience at 8th Street Steakhouse downtown. Definitely recommend Steamboat and this condo was perfect for my husband and I and our 21 and 16 year old boys. Enough space for everyone! Hot tubs are steps from the door. Great stay!

Very much enjoyed the location and space overall. It was nice to have the hot tubs for after the mountain. Shuttle service drops you right where you need to be for ski day. Great spot to stay 👍

The shuttle to the base was super quick and convenient—door to door every 10-20 minutes! The space is small but comfortable and well laid out. There’s a big table and a big comfy sectional. And the views are spectacular!

We really enjoyed our stay. With plans for skiing, the frequent shuttle to Steamboat was much appreciated. The lodging was comfortable and well furnished. The kitchen had many things to aid in my occasional cooking efforts. And there really is that gorgeous Yampa Valley view in the evening. Our best view when in Steamboat. Plenty of sleeping options as well. Could be tight on space in those rooms but move to the living room quickly where the views and the space is there for everyone.

The property was perfect for a family of 5 with new kitchen and well provisioned facilities for a very comfortable stay. Ski area shuttle service from 8am to 5pm was reliable. We loved waking up to the views over the valley and sunset was very picturesque. Kids loved the hot tub (shared facility) and space to relax after skiing. Very efficient and reliable property services - we reported a maintenance issue on toilet handle which was promptly fixed within same day on a Sunday. Relative to the shared facilities on site, the unit was in a convenient location very close to shared hot tub and fitness room. Our unit #305 was also only a few stairs to walk up from ground level unlike some of the other units in the lower property. Key points to be aware of: 1. No in-unit laundry facilities - Need to use shared laundry - a very short (1 min) walk outside of unit, which requires payment each use. (separate laundry and dryer machines). 2. No on-call shuttle available with this unit. Downtown bus stop is a 5 minute walk down the hill. 3. If you plan to make use of an Ikon Pass “First Tracks” day - the ski shuttle does not start early enough to get to the 8-8.15am First Tracks lift times. Be prepared to walk 20 mins (mainly downhill) with your skis to make use of this benefit.
