On this quiet, dead-end, dirt road, there are no buildings to block your view of the river, so you can wake up and go to sleep with the water in sight. Whether you're traveling to South Fork to ride ATVs, explore Rio Grande National Forest, or ski the fresh powder at Wolf Creek Ski Area (21 miles southwest), this house makes a wonderful home base. Enjoy a beautifully updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances and an island that provides space for both prepping and dining, comfortable living room furniture placed in front of a flatscreen TV, large windows that let in plenty of natural light, and free WiFi. Friend and I there for long weekend to fish. Very comfortable with everything needed and fishing access in front of the cabin with some good catches. Good base camp for all things in the area. Zero issues and super easy entry and check-out. TV worked, wifi worked, heater worked, washer and dryer, good hot water, great appliances.

Our stay at the Rio Grande Retreat was wonderful. The Rio Grande River is just steps outside the front of the house and National Forest access is plentiful in the area. The home is well maintained and clean. Check in and check out was easy. I highly recommend this home for a Colorado getaway. We will certainly be back!
