Casa del Rio is a thoughtfully appointed and spacious retreat that guests found ideal for family getaways and group stays. Casa del Rio was the best vacation rental I have ever experienced. Very nice house. Everything worked. Super clean. Great location for walking the community. We saw deer, fox, geese, rabbits, ducks. There was one bear sighting and bear commotion outside one evening. The house is on the river, however SW Colorado is in a terrible drought. The fishing was difficult. South Fork has plenty of restaurants all of which had very kind staffs. The Rainbow grocery store has all you need. We stayed at Casa del Rio for two weeks and really didn’t want to leave.

This is a beautiful home in a beautiful setting! We enjoyed the close proximity to Wolf Creek. The house is very comfortable and has a lot of room to spread out. This would be a great place to stay any time of year!

We really enjoyed our stay at Cada del Rio. There is plenty of room for a bigger group. The home is clean and has everything you need for your stay. The neighborhood is quiet. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and taking in the river view.

This is a great cabin with everything you could need for a great stay. As if 8/2025 it is in serious need of a deep cleaning so anyone with allergies or sensitivities to dust beware, but otherwise this was great. I note the dust because it can be a serious issue for some, but I will say the bedding, bathroom, and kitchen surfaces were clean. Typically when listings say “sleeps 10” we find that usually means 10 kids or one adult and 9 small children….but we had 5 adults and 5 kids and we slept very comfortably here. Property manager was responsive and friendly. We worked for part of our stay and WiFi was pretty good with some but minimal issues.
