This historic cabin is great . Had the whole family there and it worked out perfect with all the bedrooms. The location over looking the lake is beautiful. And access to the lake on the new steps and boat dock is perfect. Thanks to the Davis family for sharing.
This is the second year my friends and I have rented this house! The deck is unbeatable and the house is cute and charming! The new stairs down to the dock are a great addition from last year! We already booked our stay for next year again!
The house is even more beautiful than we thought. Spatious, comfortable, convenient, warm and an absolutely stunning view and location right on the lake. I even was able to pick up the whole family by boat on the pontoon.
We booked this house last-minute for a trip to Grand Lake, and to be honest, I wasn’t super excited at first. The photos made the house look a bit quirky—dated galley kitchen, bold red and yellow dining room, lots of twin beds and bunks. It definitely wasn’t giving “dream cabin getaway” vibes. But once we arrived? Total game-changer. Yes, the decor is a eclectic(particularly the kitchen, dining room and bedrooms), but in person the house has so much charm. The living room was cozy and inviting, and it leads out to a deck that overlooks the lake—and that’s where the magic really is. The outdoor space absolutely blew us away. We ate every meal on the patio, soaking in views better than any five-star restaurant. Just down the stairs is a lower deck over the boat garage where we launched our kayaks, relaxed, and just took in the stunning lakefront scenery. We’ve stayed in Grand Lake many times, usually in more traditional “cabin-y” places, but this spot has now topped our list. It was peaceful, perfectly located, and that outdoor space is honestly unmatched. I was already trying to book our next stay before we even left. Don’t let the photos fool you—this place is a gem.
Classic mountain cabin. Great location.
We really enjoyed the cabin and the decks! It’s right on the water and a just block from Main Street. The house had plenty of bedrooms for our group. The kitchen was well stocked altho a big small. We loved learning the history of the cabin with its period furniture and funky decorations. We highly recommend the house!
