Alma Mountain Retreat

Absolutely incredible stay! This cabin exceeded all of our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully designed, and surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. One of our favorite parts was the spacious and comfortable great room — the perfect place to relax after a day outdoors, with plenty of room for everyone to gather and unwind. The location was ideal, with easy access to some of the best hiking in Colorado. We spent our days exploring the world-class trails nearby and our evenings soaking in the hot tub under the stars. Easy striking distance to fine dining in Breckenridge or the mountain town charm of Fairplay. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were extremely comfortable, and every detail made the home feel warm, welcoming, and luxurious. It was the perfect mountain getaway, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

this house was awesome. It is perfectly located for day trips. The towns of Alma and FairPlay are beautiful. We interacted with several businesses and were very pleased. The house is beautiful and very clean. The hot tub was perfect after a long day on the road and trails.

The house is nicely secluded, surrounded by aspen and pine forest, with a view of the surrounding mountains. The property was clean and it was easy to enter, we enjoyed the open room and deck, and spent the nights looking at some of the best stars I've seen! Being in such a quiet area and just a half hour drive away from Breckenridge was great, it was nice to hike through placer Valley one day and explore the ski town the next. Almart is the local grocery store, a few minutes from the house, and has most essentials that one may need. A great place to get away, relax and have fun 👍

Whether you are looking to relax in nature at a beautiful, secluded home or looking for a place to rest in between enjoying all the outdoor activities in Alma, this home is the perfect place for you! Equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including unplugging fully (there is excellent WiFi but no signal if you really want to be off the grid). We really enjoyed spending our holiday weekend here, thank you!

Awesome location near Alma and Breck with beautiful views and great ammenities. We enjoyed using the hot tub daily and the staff at Al-Mart was so kind and helpful when my husband was suffering from bad altitude sickness. The kids enjoyed the sleds outside and the cute teepee out front. It is not very toddler/baby friendly since there are steep steps in two locations, with no gates, highchair, or baby crib. We did bring a pack-n-play but struggled making sure our toddler was safe at all times and keeping him contained for meals. Regardless, the house was very nice, furniture was much nicer than most rentals I have been in, and hidden gem was the king-size pull out in the couch. Very comfy and great if you prefer a king-size bed to the two rooms upstairs with queens, or if you want to be closer to the kids sleeping in the bunk room. The kitchen had all the spices/seasonings we needed, as well as coffee filters, but no cooking oils or sprays. Highly recommend this location and house for someone who wants a quiet, relaxing location close to Breckenridge high up in the mountains.

This is a beautiful home with all the amenities someone can ask for. The hot tub was the cherry on top! The kitchen is stocked with all of the spices and kitchen cookware someone would need to create the perfect meal. And with only an easy 24 minute drive to Breckenridge Village you will be cutting up those slopes on those fresh powda days in no time!
