The location for ski in ski out
Truly ski in/ski out right up to the door
Location is great, unit not so much — know what you're getting into We have stayed in Steamboat many times and in quite a few ski-in/ski-out properties over the years, so we have a decent baseline for comparison. The ski-in/ski-out access here is the real sell, and it delivers on that. The unit itself, however, feels like an afterthought. The Unit - Bare-bones furnishings that are old, worn, and cheap throughout - Flat, low quality pillows - Clear shower curtain — odd and cheap feeling - Broken dishwasher tray with a persistent unpleasant smell - No personality or warmth — feels like nobody has visited or cared for this place in a while Information & Getting Around - No guest guidebook or useful property info anywhere in the unit - No map of the property or details on amenities like where to find the ski lockers - The unit has a wood burning fireplace but no wood is provided and there is no note about this anywhere - Shuttle details are not clearly spelled out — we waited at the base for nearly 45 minutes without clear info on timing or the route and ended up taking a $25 Uber - Steamboat has so much to offer year-round — Strawberry Park Hot Springs, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, incredible dining, and tons of summer activities. A guest guidebook with local recommendations and property info would be an incredibly nice touch here, but there is nothing like that to be found in the unit If you are purely after ski-in/ski-out access and can overlook the rest, it works. But at this price point there are better options with more care, character, and attention to the guest experience. We will not be returning to this unit.
Perfect location, everything was clean and organized, the bed was so comfortable, the kitchen with updated appliances and great coffee maker, truly an incredible place to stay and would love to do so again! Thank you for our wonderful stay!
This condo was perfect for myself and daughter to stay for our trip to Steamboat. Wonderful location, clean, great amenities (especially the pool!) The parking rules of only one car seemed pretty harsh, as my daughter drove up from Golden, CO and I had flown in and had a rental car. Being forced to park and hike quite a ways seemed silly as the parking lot in our area was only ¼ full at anytime during our 4 night stay.
Conveniently located right on the slope. Nice pool and hot tub. The condo itself is very outdated and could use a facelift (decor and furniture)but it was cheap and convenient.
