Chimney Rock National Monument is approximately 18 miles away, while downtown Pagosa Springs—with its shops, galleries, and hot springs—is about six miles from the home. Golfers can enjoy the Pagosa Springs Golf Club, while the nearby Gate 5 Hiking Area provides an opportunity to explore the outdoors. In winter, Wolf Creek Ski Area is approximately 30 miles north.

We loved this house because it was open and comfortable. The only thing disappointing was no garage access when it stated we would have garage access. We would definitely stay again. Nice, clean and open

Comfortable beds for everyone, Aunt flew in from cross country, had the bedroom upstairs with her own toilet. Two large showers with bath downstairs, master bath has large sunken tub with king bed . Side room with a single twin seating/bed so child could sleep next to sister in a pack and play we brought. Comfortably large king for the parents in the Master, large enough very comfortable queen for the grandparents next to one of the downstairs baths. Secure, quiet neighborhood with a small fenced yard. Secure VERY CLEAN, excellent appliances, did not use the oven or gas range. Toaster oven, microwave Large refrigerator/freezer.

This home was a perfect retreat in the woods. We saw deer most days, lots of birds, and we even got a good view of the recent comet at sunset! A well-equipped kitchen made meal prep easy(would be perfect for a family gathering) with plenty of dishes, glassware, and utensils. Furniture was comfortable and the house was spacious. The home is close to central Pagosa and also to the main roads to access hiking and fishing spots. The neighborhood walking path is a lovely way to get your steps! We will be back to our favorite Pagosa Springs and this gem of a house on Garnet Court.
