Overview
Looking for a secluded retreat? This expansive cabin is the very definition, set on two acres with no neighbors around to make noise. Gaze out onto the San Juan river - you won't believe how close it is! Guests can cook up something delicious in the private gas grill, or just gather around the natural stone firepit and gaze up at the stars. The main deck off the kitchen also provides great views of the river and surrounding mountains. The inside is just as relaxing, with plenty of windows throughout to provide natural light. The living room's picture windows are a particular highlight (get it?). The main bedroom is on this first level, set with a king bed and an en en suite bathroom with a jetted tub. Downstairs, guests can also settle into the second main bedroom, which features a log king bed, an en suite bathroom with a jetted tub, and a separate entrance to the lower patio. The remaining bedrooms are all downstairs: the third bedroom features a log queen bed, the fourth includes one king bed, and the final bedroom features a king bed. No matter what bedroom guests choose, everyone can come help out in the fully equipped kitchen with two sinks and a double oven. There's plenty of room in this cabin in the woods - claim your spot around the fire and enjoy the view!

We were blown away by the beauty and space of this cabin. Loved hearing the river and the view.
Location is awesome, the view and the sound of the river was the best part , very clean , will stay again
The lodge was spacious and nestled on a hill overlooking the river. It was very close to the road, but the running water drowned out any road noise. It had a wonderful kitchen with 2 tables close by in an open format. Honestly we spent most of our time here or in the living area. We drove to Wolf Creek every morning and it was a peaceful, scenic drive to the slopes and back. We had 10 (4 adults and 6 kids). There was more than enough room for all. We highly recommend this lodge!
The Home was beautiful! Had just about everything we needed.
We really enjoyed our stay at Sunflower Lodge. Wonderful space and laid out very well for a large family. It was easy to get in the house and the reponse if I had a question was good. My only complaint was the bed linens. Pillows were very old with no support and the sheets and blankets were also very old. A refresh on the linens is needed. Overall, great place and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a spacious, well appointed home, close to Wolf Creek with beautiful views.
This house could use a little tlc, but the location can’t be beat for skiing.
