During your stay, enjoy the peaceful sound of the stream running down the mountain at the back of the property. Also on the property, enjoy hours of hiking and a fantastic sledding hill. Bring your favorite rod as fishing is plentiful nearby and if fishing is not your cup of tea, take a quick drive to nearby Basecamp, Okemo, and Woodstock. There you will find amazing shops, restaurants, and breweries.

Back at your stay, relax in the spacious living room, adorned with charming wood finishes, soft seating, and a large TV. Cooking will come easy in the full kitchen amongst the stainless steel appliances and ample meal prep space, find yourself playing chef. Laughter, pleasant conversations, and great feasts are sure to be enjoyed around the formal dining table.

The bedrooms, each as bright and airy as the last, offer comfortable private areas to call your own. Remote workers will appreciate the designated work desk, and everyone will enjoy the game room's large TV, gaming systems, and foosball table. I have stayed at Valkyrie Run in the past and I was pleasantly surprised when arriving this time to find both bathrooms newly remodeled! I always try and stay at Valkyrie Run if it’s available because the location can’t be beat and the accommodations are A+! Thank you again for the stay. Highly recommended!

We recently stayed at this house for a winter snowboarding trip. While we enjoyed the overall space, the number of beds, and how roomy the house was, there was a major issue that impacted our stay. One of the bathrooms was under construction, which meant we only had access to one bathroom for our entire group. This was not mentioned anywhere before booking or in the listing, and we wouldn’t have chosen this property had we known. With a larger group, the lack of a second bathroom was very inconvenient and made our stay less comfortable. I want to stress that the house itself has a lot of potential, and most things were in good order as advertised, but it’s frustrating that such an important detail was not communicated. Hopefully, once the renovations are completed, this will be a great rental. Until then, I would recommend reaching out to confirm the current status of the house before booking.
