Nice place, close to mountain. Loft area cozy but comfy!
We loved our two night stay at the condo. It is super cozy and comfortable. Bed is comfortable and everything you need is provided. Super close to sugarbush which was the purpose of our trip. Instructions are very clear too. Notice the fan needs to stay on at all times or the heat upstairs is quite uncomfortable. But this is also noted in the instructions. The only thing I would warn everyone bookings is the gps sends you to a dead end, closed road. You need to access the condos through German flats rd. It added 20 min to our trip figuring out how to get there. The condo was a little bit dusty, probably had been empty for a while but nothing too bad
Great place. I would just mention that the bathroom is not on the same floor as the bedroom.
So close to the mountain and great family spot. Cute bungalow for kiddos and cozy downstairs place to hang.
I stayed here with my 2 teenage boys for a ski weekend during late January. The place is very cozy, clean and comfortable. Just a couple of comments. First, there is a rustic style gas fireplace unit in the living room, which is a great feature. However, it heats the entire unit. Since heat rises, and since the unit is open concept to above, the temperature in the upstairs is around 10 degrees hotter than the downstairs. So when it's cold outside, and you want the living room area warmed up nicely, the upstairs will be like a sauna. Our trick to dealing with this was to turn down the temperature on the gas fireplace close to bed-time so that it would not be too hot upstairs. Second, you have to turn on the water heater switch in the electrical panel. We didn't realize this at first, so we thought there was no hot water. But all was fine once we flicked on the switch. It's a nice place and a great location with convenient access to the ski hills. Keep in mind, however, that there is an access road from the north (Sugar Run Rd.) which appears to be closed during the winter months. Google maps didn't identify this correctly, We drove down this road during our check-in night and got stuck at a dead-end (no snow clearing). We had to turn around and drive back the other way. Thus, you need to access the property from German Flats Rd (from the east or west). This should be mentioned on the advertisement. Otherwise, we loved this villa and would stay again.
First shower the water was barely warm. Next day, cold. Turns out they turn the water heater off between stays. Owner claimed instructions were placed at unit entrance, not true. The unit itself was fine.
