Great location, kitchen could have had more gkasswear, no kitchen knives. We we fine with the unit and had a great weekend.
Location, convenience, view
We were happy with the location - it’s a 5 minute shuttle ride to the slopes. However, the elevator was out of order and we were on the 5th floor. Most travelers have lots of stuff so it was a pain. Further, the water was out due the last day and a half therefore we had no running water nor toilet capabilities.
Our unit was clean, but that’s about the extent of the upside. It also had really good Wi-Fi and a new modern television with access to all the apps. Other than that, it was like stepping back in time to 1996. The whole complex is in desperate need of updating. The elevator was out of order. The common corridors had a mild Dewey odor to them and the inside of the unit had probably newer carpet and maybe the pullout couch was newer, but you could tell everything else hadn’t been touched in 20 to 30 years.
The unit was very clean (except for the hair on the shower wall) and the appliances were adequate. Bed and other furniture were sufficiently comfortable. Unless you plan to eat-out cooking could be problematic. The dishes and kitchen utensils were inadequate. There were 3 spatulas and not a single large sharp knife. No butchers knife or bread knife. One, VERY small, wood cutting board was provided. There were no wine glasses or large soup bowels. Be prepared to take a swim after a shower, the shower-head sprayed water on the floor despite the shower curtain being properly placed. For about $150 or less all of these shortcomings could be rectified. For one or two people this unit will suffice for a short stay.
TV remote did not work the tv, so no tv for 3 days ! Maintenance was performed on the kitchen and was not cleaned up. Wood chars all over counter where lights were added. Balcony door does not lock properly. Building is in need of repair its older and not well maintained.
