Overview
Some of the most beautiful sunsets you've ever seen await at this five-bedroom home in North Hero, a waterfront escape scenically situated on the shores of Lake Champlain. Enjoy a private dock, a canoe and kayak to take out on the lake, and an incredible variety of at-home entertainment.
This two-story home was designed for vacationing families, with lakefront grounds that include a private swimming pool, a beach volleyball court, a hot tub, and a play structure with a swing set for your little ones. Play horseshoes and volleyball on the lawn in the afternoons or retreat to the poolhouse to find a Ping-Pong table, a smart TV, and a wet bar with a full-size refrigerator to store your favorite beverages.
Spend your mornings paddling on the lake, your afternoons napping in the hammock outside, and sparkling summer evenings manning the gas grill on the deck. There's even an outdoor firepit where you can gather at sunset for s'mores, stories of the day's adventures, and a gorgeous view of the lake.
The home's interior provides a wonderful sense of brightness and easy modernity. Anchored by a gas fireplace with a floor-to-ceiling hearth, the great room has plentiful seating, a large dining table, and an open view of the kitchen with its two-toned cabinets and stainless steel appliances. In the evenings, pile on the sofa in the den, stream your favorite movies, and retire to one of five bedrooms - including a kids' room with bunks, a boat bed, a smart TV, and a selection of toys, books, and games.

The house has many levels and a lot of room for a large family. The added pool house with a refrigerator and games were very much a plus. The pool and spa were a hit. Very well appointed kitchen. We enjoyed many family meals there. Several bathrooms which was a plus. Ample towels for baths and showers but also for the pool area. The front downstairs outside swings and the kiddie picnic table were used frequently. Nothing like having a cup of coffee or a cocktail swinging on the swing and looking over at the lake to watch the amazing sunsets. People in the are were very nice and welcoming. The General Store a few blocks away really has everything that one would need. So many great adventures within a reasonable drive. The Golden Retriever Farm is a must for not only families but for anyone that loves dogs. The farmer's markets were fantastic. The outside concert at one of the many wineries was great for the entire family. The concert was free and there were several food trucks and wine and distillery tastings. The entertainment was outstanding. The young adults went to Ausable Chasm in New York about an hour away. the shopping in Downtown Burlington was plentiful and unique. Some of us even went horseback riding with beautiful views only 30 minutes away.
We had a really fantastic time at this house. The kids room is a dream with lots of books and games. The kitchen is well stocked with quality cookware and plenty of plates, glasses etc The beds are comfortable and everything is nicely decorated. We took advantage of most of the outdoor amenities. There’s a firepit, a nice grill, pool, hot tub, pool house with a bar, refrigerator and ping pong, volleyball, horseshoes, cornhole boards(we brought our own bags) a kayak and canoe. Pool towels are provided as well. There is a store with all the basics within walking distance. Overall we are very happy with our stay.
Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms.
Plenty of room for lots of family and friends to enjoy the house and the grounds. Easy and walkable grocery market to get any last minute supplies. We all left loving our stay here.
We loved the decor and amenities of this house. It is a shame the local cleaning crew was so poor.
This home was perfect for our multi-family vacation. There were plenty of sleeping options. The pool and hot tub were used often and enjoyed by all. The grounds were perfect for an outdoor obstacle course. The kitchen had all we needed to enjoy family meals together all week.
