Harvest House & Carriage

This was our third year using this house. It continues to work very well for our group. We especially like having two houses, with two kitchens and a large amount of space. It makes it less noisy and crowded to split top the group, but we can still all be in the same place for dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended?

Nice kitchen and furniture in an older farmhouse. Our group was very comfortable. Hot tub on deck was awesome.

This house(s) was perfect for our group of friends. It may be an old, perhaps historic, house, but it does not look old, neither inside nor out. The kitchens have been fully updated. The furniture is very comfortable. Aside from one or two creaky beds, everything was fine. We did not have any of the issues mentioned in previous reviews. There is enough space for everyone, no one felt crowded, quite the opposite. Having two houses, meant anyone wanting a quiet space could go to the other house. There are few houses that have as many bathrooms as this house. We will definitely go back next year.

If you are ok with older houses, and the normal issues these house's have then you will like this house. has working fireplaces/ wood burning stoves, old floors wide plank floors (that creek) exposed beams, retro-fitted bathroom's, low ceilings upstairs' etc. If none of that bothers you, i recommend this location. , but if you are looking for something modern and pristine, it might not be for you. Enjoyed sitting around the fire after a day of skiing!

This house is old. Most of the furniture wobbles, creaks, if not broken. The bed creaked so loud with even the slightest movement. Chairs were wobbly so some were designated as only those our kids can sit on so it wouldn't collapse under an adult. Bathroom lock didn't work - so privacy wasn't guaranteed. There was a constant leak in the carriage house, and though we stayed there for 5 nights and contacted customer service multiple times, no one came. The microwave in the main house was broken. Dishwasher didn't work, and was severely stained. No showerhead in one of the bathrooms so water just sprayed out everywhere. To do laundry, you had to walk into a dungeon-like unfinished basement past cobwebs, a dilapidated bathroom, a tray of some mystery pet food or rat poison, into a far corner where only some of the machines worked. Accommodations were not a good value for the exorbitant amount we paid for a holiday weekend. On top of that, we were charged $27 just to inquire if the local staff had found a retainer upon cleaning. This exchange itself took days. I was never able to speak to a live person, only communicated through text. Never once were any of the issues we raised on day 1 of the stay addressed. The only highlight of the stay was the company of family and friends.
