This little cabin is so cool! It is very cozy and cute. There is a convenient entry, nice usable kitchen, comfortable living room, and a spacious bedroom. The bathroom is well-designed and functional. We had three people, so one slept on the couch fold-out. Having arrived at night, we woke up to a wonderful secluded yard nestled along a lake. It was winter, but summer and falls in the yard by the lake would be super.
Cute cabin vibe. Beautiful views. Nice privacy. Everything you need
This place had an awesome Neo rustic quaint feel with tremendous quality and value. If you are going to Jay, this pad gets the highest recommendation.
Perfect little spot with a beautiful view and only about 15 minutes from Jay Peak. WiFi worked well, linens and towels were provided, bathroom is nice, and overall just a great cabin vibe. There’s also a little country store just about 7-8 minutes away which was great to have. I’ll definitely be back!
The cabin was extremely nice and had a very curated backwoods decor that was appreciated. The property was very clean and the views of the mountain over the pond in the backyard were great.we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back another time.
The house is a really cute house in a beautiful location with an amazing view. It’s clean and tidy with good amenities. Which is why I gave this four stars. However, when we first arrived, the Rinnai heater was emitting a gas odor into the space, and we had to open all the windows to air out the house. The heater needs to be maintained or serviced to prevent this from happening. We were hesitant to use the heater, but it’s the only heat source in the home, since guests are not allowed to use the wood stove. It would have been helpful to know if the water was safe to drink or use in food. The water smelled so strongly of a metallic odor that we were hesitant to use it. We assumed the 5-gallon water dispenser in the entry was the potable water for consumption, but this should have been made clear in the listing for people’s health, safety, and comfort. Additionally the walkway and steps have clearly not been shoveled in some time. It had several inches of solid ice. For a $300+/night rental, we assumed some basic maintenance would be considered for the safety of the renters.
