Beebe Lake House

A big comfortable house; the two main drawbacks were no eating table on the deck and no canoe or other boat at the dock so we could not explore the lake by boat. The bathrooms are all nice and look like they were recently redone but in the other rooms, some of the furniture is badly in need of repair

The Beebe Lake house was very cozy, homey, and comfortable. The layout of the kitchen made sense and made it easy for us to cook - a huge perk in such a rural area. We were nervous about the distance to Killington/Okemo, but the drive was reasonable after all and passed through Rutland; allowing us to make grocery runs and pick up takeout without going out of our way. Lots of comfortable beds and a stunning, wintery lake view. Parking and &road were simple.

We were 7 people. Grandparents, parents and 3 grandchildren. We enjoyed very much our stay in the house, we cooked most of meals . The kitchen was well equipped, endless places to sit and dine. The rooms were amazing. The view from waxh windows was wow. Everything was really nice. We enjoyed our stay enormously.

The best part about this house is the view. The property management was responsive too. But… The house clearly hasn’t been maintained. It’s musty and damp. It would take or cost much to power wash it once a year and to clean the windows. The spiral staircase was a surprise. Not great for folks with mobility issues.

My friend group of 6 really enjoyed our July 4th long weekend here. The lake house feels lived-in, exuding heart and warmth. There was plenty of space for three couples, and many spaces for lounging -- including a screened-in dining area, the spacious deck with amazing lake and mountain views, and the dock, where we spent many hours on the water. A special place!

Thank you for sharing your very lovely lakehouse. Our family celebrated my husband's 80th Birthday and we picked the perfect place. It is obvious, by the beautiful photos displayed throughout the home, your own family has experienced memorable times on BeeBe Pond. It was a pleasure to all work together in the large and well appointed kitchen. The 2 big tables in the main living area and the one on the screened porch provided a lot of space for meal preparation, games and the sharing of 80 years of photos for the birthday boy. We found your home clean and all our needs met. The beds are certainly comfortable and every room was filled with natural light and beautiful views. We all enjoyed the dock, just to sit and take in the sun and fall views. I would highly recommend The Beebe Lake House.
