All the supplies we needed were on hand. We appreciated that our needs were anticipated before we even had the need.
Smuggs is a great focal point for our families to stay when visiting our nearby farm. Lots of activities to do for all ages, but also calm & beautiful. Safe hiking trails. Mostly the experience is very easy. There is a fully equipped, kitchen and laundry, everything is clean and functions well. Upgrades to the television made it more labor demanding of us. We’d like to just be able to turn a TV on and not have to sign in and download streaming services. We ended up using our own devices, but the Wi-Fi was very weak. Love the fireplaces & screened in porch.
Home was very clean.
Just fixed the hot tub or let potential renters know the tub is not working
Everything was absolutely perfect except for the out of service hot tub.
The listing implies this rental has a private hot tub (no where does it say shared or public) and it implies it has a WORKING hot tub. The hot tub is shared with the entire building, it is NOT private. It was also drained and not working. By its appearance, it has not been working for some time. I would not have booked this unit knowing: 1. the hot tub was not private, 2. There was NO WORKING hot tub. Upon arrival and discovering there was no working hot tub, I asked for some sort of partial refund....thats been a week ago and I keep asking and I keep getting a response of, "we have not heard back from management yet". When I first inquired, I was told that I had needed to give 48 hours advance notice if I had wanted to use the hot tub and then also pay an additional fee for it. I told them that was ridiculous but didn't ever get any resolution. The listing is misleading by showing a picture of a hot tub on a balcony and not saying it is shared by whole building - also that it DOES NOT WORK. Be careful with wat listings say and if there is one MUST have item for you, verify it is actually included and working.
