Overview
Warm, cozy, and quintessentially Vermont, this cabin in the woods of Wilmington makes a wonderful and relaxing New England escape. You'll feel blissfully secluded with the forest stretching out before you, yet you'll also enjoy easy access to the Chimney Hill Clubhouse down the road.
This two-story cabin sits in the outskirts of Wilmington (three miles) - a prime location for skiing and other outdoor recreation at Mt. Snow (seven miles) and Stratton Mountain Resort (22 miles). Come summer, you'll be close to the Mt. Haystack Trail (half a mile), Haystack Golf Course (two miles), and the shores of Harriman Reservoir (five miles). And you can cap your days of adventure by enjoying the indoor/outdoor pools, hot tub, gym, and game room at the clubhouse.
The cabin is full of rustic charm, from the exposed-beam ceilings to the classic and inviting wood paneling. After a thrilling day on the slopes, come home to stream a favorite movie, or set up a board game at the dining room table.
On summer days, sip your coffee on the deck with a view of the forest and barbecue your dinner using the small portable grill. There's also a well-equipped eat-in kitchen, a private washer/dryer, and complimentary WiFi throughout the house. When it's time to turn in, retire to one bedroom on the main floor and a sleeping loft upstairs.

The proximity to Mt.Snow was fantastic. The house is located is a beautifully peaceful neighborhood. The amenities building was nearby and as advertised, you need to bring your own towels for the pool. The interior of the house is incredibly outdated and water pressure in the shower was nonexistent which was disappointing.
I stayed with my family at this cute cabin over Christmas break 2025. The cabin was worn but, clean. The beds were spring mattresses. A wonderful bonus is the use of the chimney hill club house. The club house is well maintained (there is an indoor and outdoor pool, there is a game room, ping pong table, movie room, piano, comfortable seating, really great). The indoor swimming pool was chlorinated and seemed to be high levels.
Cozy cabin, very quiet, good location. They could only improve the lighting and make everything cleaner. I only had one bad experience, as one of my daughters was stung by bees and was allergic. We had to go to the hospital. It's important to be careful.
Great location. Clubhouse privileges a bonus. Bad odor in house, septic odor outside and wafting in, so windows had to be kept closed. Bed quite uncomfortable. No kitchen towels.
My family and I had a great stay in the cabin. Everything we needed for our stay. The only advice I would give to a first time cabin renter is to pack warm night cloths.
