Gone Ski inn

This house serves the purpose if you’re in the area to ski and hit the mountain bell to bell. Has all of the essentials you need to spend a couple of nights and plenty of beds for a big group. It’s nothing fancy, but plenty of room and close to the Mountain, shops, and restaurants.

The location of this house is great – near Mount Snow and the reservoir. There was plenty of space for our large group. The updated kitchen was lovely. Everything was clean when we arrived. The hot tub is an excellent addition. We could tell lots of updates had been made recently. Would definitely stay again!

Great for a family get away

We (14 guys) had an unforgettable weekend in West Dover, and this house was the perfect home base. It was spacious, spotless, and stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to extra towels and linens. The layout was ideal for a large group, with plenty of room to hang out, cook, and relax without ever feeling cramped. The location was spot-on: close to Mount Snow and great local spots for food and drinks, yet tucked away enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of Vermont. The outdoor spaces were a highlight, we made full use of both decks, grilled up some great meals, and soaked in the scenery. The hot tub was a favorite for winding down, and the fire pit gave us the perfect setting for late-night laughs and stories under the stars. Our host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in seamless. They even left thoughtful touches that made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived (be sure to check out the guest book in the house as it will provide lots of laughs). Whether you're planning a ski trip, summer escape, or a celebration, this place is a total gem. We’d absolutely stay again! Local tips if you stay here: • Enjoy a delicious Italian dinner at Clara’s Cucina Italiana, located inside the White House Inn in Wilmington. • Grab craft beers and casual bites at Snow Republic Brewery, great atmosphere and killer chicken sandwiches. • End the night with drinks, pool, and darts at Dover Bar & Grill, a laid-back local favorite known for its smash burgers and fun dive bar vibe.

The proximity to the mountain was great. The size of the home was good, except that the bottom floor is very separated from the top floor, and to get there you have to go thru the freezing cold mud room. The fire place was difficult to use as it was in the corner, right next to part of the couch. The kitchen was nice as was the downstairs bathroom. We booked this unit because of the hot tub and we couldn’t use it because it was very icy up the steps and the top was frozen shut. Much of the place was old & dingy. All in all, the rental was not worth the price.

Proximity to the mountain was great but the house was very run down. Needs ALOT of TLC to make it a decent property.
