Everything was perfect! Our kids, ranging from 7 to 12, had a blast. We would definitely stay again.
Our family enjoyed the stay. Jacuzzi and fireplace were a great extra, especially with such gorgeous views from deck. Soaker tubs and a steam shower were a bonus. Ski resort were a reasonable drive away. Restaurants and stores (and even small outlets) were super close in Manchester. We would definitely return for another stay.
Everything about the house was great. No complaints. I would rent it again
The property location was ideal and convenient for taking advantage of area hiking, 5 min drive to downtown Manchester, and attending the nearby music festival. The deck was spacious with a beautiful VT countryside vista and a relaxing fully functional hot tub. The wood deck and surrounding flower gardens could use some freshening up. The house was spacious and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The house had 3 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, and extra large and comfortable beds. The kitchen was spacious, with an abundance of items to meet all our needs. We did get a bit of sensory overload with all of the owners personal memorabilia throughout the house. The house photos on the property posting seem to be from a number of years ago showing a freshly updated/ renovated view of the house and furnishings. Unfortunately, this is not the actual general present day condition. The bathrooms were fairly newly updated and very clean. The bedrooms, kitchen, and family room areas could use some freshening up.
Love the house itself which was cute, and the views as well as the proximity to the Vt Summer Festival and the town of Manchester. Unfortunately, we experienced multiple issues that the management team did not respond to sufficiently: 1) One of the 3 bathrooms was never cleaned by the cleaning staff and was found with a pile of dirty, wet towels on the floor (which I laundered) and a trash filled with used menstrual products. We checked in on Tuesday and it wasn’t until Friday that a manager offered to have it cleaned for us. 2) The digital lock would not lock and there was no way to secure the house until Friday when a regional manager came to reprogram the lock. 3) There was an active mouse infestation with mice running around and climbing the chairs in the master bedroom. I was told an exterminator would come but none did but when the regional manager came on Friday he put out some traps. Other more minor annoyances: there was no AC in the second en suite bedroom. The local manager brought fans. There were no tissues anywhere so we had to use toilet paper. I think these are all related to the management of the property and not the property itself. I really enjoyed the house but the owners should look into getting better management.
