First off, the 1 star review is not a reflection of the condo. The condo was a perfect destination for our trip to Stratton. The condo was close to the mountain and had everything we needed for a weekend stay with 4 adults and 4 children. The management of the condo left a lot to be desired. First, the good...when we arrive the place was clean, recently vacuumed, and surfaces were clean. The bad.....we arrived to a full dishwasher that we needed to unload, a washing machine filled with dirty towels, a dryer with dry clean towels (I guess we were supposed to fold them?). The garbage closet outside the front door was filled with 3 bags of trash, leaving no room for our trash. The hot top was only filled 2/3 of the way up, so if the jets were turned on they acted as water guns shooting you in the face and the temperature never got above 90 degrees. After the first day, the number lock on the front door stopped working, leading to a phone call to the management company to gain access. They were helpful in us locating the key to use instead, but mentioned that this has been a problem (why hasn't it be fixed yet?). We also showed up and there was 1 piece of wood, when the listing states that wood is provided. I made a phone call to the company about requesting more wood and removing the trash. I did not receive a call back or any information, so I had to call again. I got a call back and was told that she could not do anything about the trash and that I could drive to go get wood and she would reimburse me. So the wood would only be provided if I bought it myself.....that does not seem like "wood is included". As management company, I would think that emptying the dishwasher, finishing the laundry, checking the wood supply, checking the hot tub functionality, and removing the garbage would be standard in maintaining a property for rent. I am truly disappointed in the way that the management company handled the property.

We enjoyed our stay. The house is well equipped and cozy. It’s 5min driving to the Stratton ski resort which is good and there is a nice ski village.

This place was clean and quirky. The pool was great; clean, warm, and not very busy. I had to ding a star because there were a handful of problems when we got there, one of which was that the hot tub was not in working order. The management was extremely responsive and corrected everything asap, except the hot tub. It's not worth itemizing the other problems in this review since they were resolved for us and all future guests. But, we very much would have liked to use the hot tub even though it was the middle of the summer. The nights were cool and a soak after a long hike would have been great. Type 1.5 fun because it was annoying to have to make several maintenance calls during our stay, and the air conditioning couldn't keep up with 90 degree days.

Yes I would stay here again. This place has a fully stocked kitchen with most spices, etc. hot tub, plenty of room and 3 min drive to Stratton lots. We had a plumbing problem and it was fixed that morning while we skied.

The character of the place is funny. A lot of clocks. 5 viewable from the couch. Three in the master bathroom. One has the proper time. Painted saw blades and saws. Every wall is covered with nil mask your aunt Bernice has in the home. Flying cows, skiing cows, cows being cows. Antique skis. And the master bath. Early mixture of Hugh Hefner meets trump decor. Gold faucets, heated toilet seat, jacuzzi, steam and stuff I could not figure out. If you rent have fun exploring.
