Lots of cools things about this house and some weird things. The price was right for us. Quick ski trip with buddies. Basement was odd. Oven was on and open when we arrived. Vinyl collection was great and sound system was cool. Plumbing is old and water pressure was bad. For some dudes, no big deal. Parking was tough and they could have done a better job of clearing out snow. It all worked out.
The house was not cleaned very well, and a lot of dog hair was left behind. They didn’t have a stick vacuum or cleaning spray to keep tidy either. The vacuum that is there barely works. The kitchen is big and really great but they don’t have many cooking utensils. It was a challenge to find a pot or pan that wasn’t scratched teflon. Same for cooking tools- very limited and what is there had a lot of damage. The house itself was great- warm and nice fireplace. The bedrooms worked out great for our two families with kids. The basement had a foosball table and a dollhouse to play, but the dollhouse was filthy- covered in dust and stickiness. I wish the basement was finished bc it would be such a great spot for the kids! It was only about 16 minutes to mount snow which was very ideal.
We had a lovely time here, thank you!
The location was perfect for our family mt snow weekend
this house was a great gathering place for our party of eight. We fit comfortably, the living room seated everybody nicely and the dining table was large enough for a big family to play games on.
The house was comfortable and has a really nice view of the creek from the living room. I would say the living room is the star of the house. They had board games and an extensive LP and DVD collection. There were some cleanliness issues and the hot tub was out of order but the host did work with me a little bit on that.
