The Spacious Mountain Retreat

Really enjoyed our family stay at this clean 3 level property. Nice location and neighborhood. Bedding and washroom/shower availability worked well for our 11 person stay. Excellent A/C during high temp weather in region. No problem with hot water and associated pressure with both shower usage. Laundry equipment handled all our needs. Kids had fun being in yard and family enjoyed hot tub usage in evening. Close to Okemo for those interested in skiing/activities and Shaw's grocery is minutes away. Plenty of options for takeout food in immediate area. Only concern is for those with hip/knee issues if your chasing youngsters up and down stairs! :) Owner communication was excellent. Definitely recommend this property.

This house has a great set up for large groups on vacation. The sleeping areas are set apart from the main living areas so you don’t have to worry about noise with different sleep/wake times. The kitchen has plenty of pots/pans/etc. to cook with and is even equipped with a large variety of spices and things like that. There’s a grill, hot tub, and table with fire pit for outdoor entertainment areas. Everything was very neat and clean - no complaints!

Top notch bedding and mattresses , very comfortable stay! We loved the upper floor kitchen and dining room table, that’s where we spent most of our hang out time. Pups enjoyed the cool first level. Responsive and kind host!

We stayed here for a ski weekend with a few adults and teenage kids. The house fit us all comfortably and there are many spaces to hang out. It is a good comfortable size and even with 12 people, we were not on top of each other. The house was clean. A few dish towels and more oven mitts could be of use, and if you're going with a bigger group, I suggest bringing plastic cups. Bath towels are provided, but they were a little small, so if that's an issue for you, bring your own. It's nice and close to Okemo and the center of town and we took a lunch trip to Killington. Wifi worked great, which was great for us non-skiers who had to work.

The house set up worked incredibly well for 3 families. The kitchen and family room are on the top floor, three adult bedrooms in the mid level, and then two kid bedrooms and a separate family room on the lower levels allowed the kids and adults to be separate. We had three (small) kids in the lower level king room and then three kids in the bunk room. And while a blow up mattress won’t fit in any of the rooms, there’s plenty of space in the basement for a blow up, if extra space is needed. The beds in the king and queen rooms are incredibly comfortable, but be warned of the twin beds in the bunk rooms (you can fully feel the coils). Kids will be fine, but absolutely will not recommend adults (tried by an adult one night and ended up on the couch). The house is incredibly close to the mountain, where you can see south face condos out your back window, but too far to walk. We found it easy one person to drop everyone off at the sachem trail (off of trailside) and then park at clock tower to meet up (or Jackson gore). The house definitely showed its age, but we found it to be clean. Also, The hot tub worked great. If you rent this house, one piece of advice: bring your own towels. The towels provided (one per guest) are incredibly small and for a female will not cover your body while walking from The bathroom to the bedroom. Also, no extra towels provided for the hot tub. Also, there’s not enough spoons and forks for one setting.

The house was in good working order and had tons of space to spend time with friends, considering it has two living rooms. It also has multiple TV's, so there's entertainment even if you're stuck inside. Okemo being nearby is the biggest advantage to this place. Unfortunately, it's a bit too far to walk to.
