Classic Log Cabin

Cozy log cabin with short walk to slopes. Could use improved bath linens and lighting in common spaces.

For $600+/night i would expect the heat, hot water and dishwasher to work. I was able to get the hot water and heat to work, although it had to be restarted 3 more times which resulted in 2 cold showers. We were told that someone would come to repair the dishwasher and the boiler, but no one ever did. We we offered a $125 refund, which doesn't come close to the inconvenince and time spent during my vacation trying to resolve these issues.

We had a wonderful stay at the “cabin”. Although it is so much more than a cabin. The rooms are all spacious, particularly the primary bedroom with vaulted ceiling. The kids loved the sleeping loft. Separate seating area in the lower level for them to get away from the grown-ups was ideal. Everything was clean, well-maintained and cozy. What a lovely home for a family gathering! So close to the ski trail just 3 houses in from the Sachem Trail. Ludlow has a cool downtown with great shops and restaurants. We also did the short drive to Buttermilk Falls and hiked around in the snow. It was awesome. Would 100% stay here again! We highly recommend this home!

Upon arrival, was told there was no in house heating and that the only source of heating is a single fireplace that when lit, only heats up the living room. Spent 2 hours on call with guest services and finally had to contact the owner in order to turn on heating for the entire house. Other than the initial hiccup, the stay was comfortable and overall very nice but the heater did have to be reset every day since it would go out.

The gathering spaces in this lovely ski home were perfect for our extended family ski weekend. The kids really enjoyed sleeping in the bunk space too.
