It is a modern small house, but is like a cabin in the woods. Small but nice place, good for couples or family with one or two kids. Only one or two steps up, then everything is on the main floor. It was unseasonably warm outside when we stayed, and we couldn't find any air conditioner, so it was pretty warm inside the first night, even with the windows open all night. Other than that we did like the house and the scenic area in general. It is not too far to Brattleboro one way, and Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site the other way.

Nice area , real private and beautiful. Remind renters of black flies and ticks. Both were present.

This space was the perfect getaway for the weekend. Spacious, dog-friendly, and easy to get to. Great location between attractions and towns. Quiet at night as well.

Sweet spot for a quiet romantic getaway. Even though it was cool outside, we enjoyed the deck. If it hadn’t been rainy, we probably would have used the convenient wood shed stock to enjoy the fire pit. Comfortable bed. We did notice the wooden bathroom door seems to have swollen and doesn’t close. This wasn’t a problem for the two of us, but might matter to some people.
