Boasting the best modern cabin vibes both inside and out, this stylish retreat is more than ready to assist in making mountain memories to last a lifetime! Sitting right on the bank of Lake Rescue, there will be no delay in summer fun with a private dock, kayaks, paddleboards, and more to really soak up the lakeside lifestyle. Come winter, the skiers of the group will absolutely fall in love with this location as well, as Okemo Mountain Resort is just four miles south offering a wide array of ski runs for all experience levels and Killington is 17 miles north. Downtown Ludlow is also near the mountain where you can stock up on groceries, grab a bite to eat from a local restaurant, or pop into shops to snag a souvenir.

Though the exterior will charm even the most design-oriented of guests, step inside and you will immediately be greeted by the rustic exposed ceilings, homey hardwood floors, and mountain decor that will allow everyone to feel welcome and relaxed in no time. Not to mention, the well-equipped, full kitchen complete with a gas range, beautiful white countertops, and all of the appliances needed to whip up tasty meals will be the perfect touch to make this an ideal home away from home. After a full day of skiing in winter or kayaking in summer, everyone will love gathering for a movie night in the living room or stepping out to the back deck to watch the sunset with a favorite cocktail in hand. With four bedrooms and two baths, this place is well-suited for two couples or a large family. Please note the top bunks and pull out beds are intended to comfortably accommodate children. The home also has a dedicated office and a desk set up in each bedroom, making it ideal for remote learning or work.

Please note: the waterfront dock features approximately 60 steep steps to access which may be strenuous for some guests.

The house is tucked away off of the main road, in the opposite direction from the majority of traffic. It’s a short (less than 10 minute) ride to Okemo, some restaurants and shops. There is a scenic view of the lake, indoors as well as outdoors. The house is updated, clean and the living space has plenty of room and seating (there were 9 of us, plus 2 dogs).

My husband and I and our lab enjoyed our visit to Ludlow - the house was very comfortable with many modern touches. We enjoyed the water views and the fire pit - we wish it had been warmer so that we could have used the kayaks. Overall a really great place!

Everything was excellent. Easy to navigate. Everything was clean. Close to grocery store & restaurants. The lake is serene. Great family friendly or romantic getaway

Had a fun weekend at this property! Plenty of room for 6 adults and two medium sized dogs. Used the kayaks, SUPs, fire pit, deck, and cooked multiple meals. Heat worked great as it got chilly at night. Convenient location to stores and restaurants yet sits right on the lake. Future guests should take note of the wooden stairs going downhill to the limited waterfront area. Didn’t stop us from enjoying it but might be an issue for some.

Sadly, we thought this property was much, much larger - due to the photos. The living area can only fit 4 adults. Listing said it slept 10, so we expected a comfortable area to gather. It was very tight and uncomfortable. Kitchen is VERY old and freezer doesn’t open fully - with no ice available. Parking for only 2 cars:( On a positive note, comfortable beds.

We've been renting vacation homes for ~25 years now, and it's safe to say that this little house is not in our top-25 list of favorite properties. It has some redeeming features, to be fair, and the photographer has obviously done an outstanding job, but it may really be more charming as a summer destination when the weather is fine and living is easy.
