This place exceeded my expectations. It was very clean, great location, and very accommodating. We would recommend this to anyone who want peace and quiet, relaxation, and space.

Summary: A second-floor open concept home built over a garage with two bedrooms, 2 ½ baths with digital appliances on a dead-end road with a deck and gas grill. Not recommended for seniors, especially those with mobility issues. In-depth review: The stairs leading to the home are fairly steep and constructed of pine, a subdued color that tends to blend one stair into another; without a dark strip marking each step, those with vision impairments might easily miss a step. Carrying luggage to the second floor can be a challenge, but descending with luggage could be disastrous unless one “backs down” one step at a time. The kitchen, dining, and living room areas with recessed lighting (no floor lamps) are finished in knotty pine, rendering the area very attractive with regional touches such as a wooden moose and a bear skin rug. However, the couch and the deck chairs are very low to the ground, making it a struggle to stand from a semi-crouching position. The television is internet streaming only . . . no cable channels. There were times when the internet feed was weak, rendering some channels without sound, video, or occasionally unavailable altogether. Digital appliances are the way of the future, but if you are accustomed to a washing machine with rotary dials and knobs that “click in”, be prepared to wash your clothes in a machine with fourteen digital choices without the familiar dials and knobs. The dishwasher follows suit with its digital choices on the inside lid. Many seniors would be ovewhelmed by these appliances and may not be able to operate them at all. Littleton, New Hampshire, a very active north country town, sits just off I-93, a major north-south interstate that leads to Cannon and Loon Mountain, two major ski areas as well as various hiking trails and numerous area attractions for both young and old. Be prepared to drive 30-45 minutes for some of the outlying areas of interest. Finally, the owner has spent a considerable amount of money in building and outfitting this home. It is beautiful and spacious, but for someone in their mid-eighties, it was a bit overwhelming.

Place was extremely clean, it’s pretty new so it was in great shape. It had everything we needed. Our unit had a nice view from the balcony. The location was near the local attractions we were visiting.
