Rating
We enjoyed our stay. The house is charming and was very convenient for our ski weekend at Waterville Valley. Check-in/check-out were simple and easy, the house was very warm and had great views, and lots of outdoor space for the kids to play in the snow. It had a generally well stocked kitchen (though weirdly no colander) and was just big enough for two families of four. We used the hot tub/pool one evening, which were great, even though not on-site - the spa is located in a community center less than 10 minutes away, so not too bad at all. But as someone else commented, with only two passes, it'll cost you if you are more than two people. We had an issue with thick ice in the driveway (the house sits below the road), but the local management team eventually took care of it. The other issue was the mattress in the main bedroom is unsleepable with a deep groove/crevasse across the middle. I would pack an extra blanket and sleep on the couch. If they fix the mattress, we would definitely consider renting here again.
The home is located in a beautiful setting. Very nice quiet place. Nice deck to relax after a day of exploring and nice grill for making meals. Well stocked wuth essentials. Washer and dryer were appreciated.
And we love the fire pits
Nice old school NE home in the mountains. Enough bedrooms for guests. A playground swing set for kids who like the outdoors. I love the vicinity to multiple trails. Fall here would be heavenly. A smokeless fire pit for cool evenings, and grill on the deck for all your grilling desires. I would go back for longer stay
it was clean, loved the outside yard with the swings and firepit. made great fires. loved having use of the community center with the pools and hot tub. Very peaceful loved the woods around the house.
We really like the location and the privacy it provides. Grilling on the deck and using that solo stove was the highlight of our girls trip. I love that it’s family friendly and plan to come back with my little ones. There’s a nice playset, bunk beds and old school PlayStation. Very cozy and comfortable place
