Moat Mountain Retreat

Overall the house meet our needs for a quick weekend to NH. Clean, maintained and enought space. Did not like the freezer or refrigerator, both very hard to open and had an oder. Inside was clean, but the yard needs work. There were two winter shovels and a grill brush in the middle of the yard. Grass had not been cut. Falls leaves not picked up. Several items behind the garage. The fire pit is very rusty. The outside of the house is showing wear and tear, windows need a painting, siding needs cleaning, window wells full etc.

We had a great time in this house over Thanksgiving. The open floor plan living room and dining room was great for serving a large meal. The house was a great location only a 10 minute drive to downtown North Conway. Note: There is no outside lighting in the driveway at night so if you need to go to your car it is really dark so bring a flashlight. There were no instructions for trash so we just bagged it and put it in the garage. There is no toaster oven, just a toaster, so if you need one bring one. And finally, it is advertised as having a 3 season porch. It is not. The porch has no windows. They have a screened-in porch. Other than that we really enjoyed our time there.

The house is well stocked and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The private yard was nice for bbqing and enjoying an evening fire in the fire pit. We would definitely stay here again!

Check in check out process could be easier

A great house with a great set up for family vacation. Everyone could have their own space, or come together comfortably in the shared spaces. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking and everything was super clean. Made a great jumping off point for our family’s adventures. Kids unanimously agreed it was our best vacation house ever.

I loved the house and my children felt like we’re at home and they didn’t wanna leave. The beds were comfy. I was happy they had baby gates at the stairs. I would love to return again to this house! Home away from home!
