This rental was the perfect location and getaway for my partner and I. Great location, very cleanly, and comfy!
We walked to dinner and attractions including our lobster cruise during our stay. Close to coffee, bars, and great food as well as the ocean.
When you run the shower very little water comes out the bathroom sink. Water pressure in the shower is weak. Can’t brush your teeth if someone was in the shower. Several rugs on the stairs (inside the unit and walking up the very narrow steps) are loose or completely off and is dangerous to walk on. The slate pieces around the wood stove are also loose or completely off the base. Ice maker didn't work. Need a new battery in the kitchen clock. The deck stairs and deck seemed unsafe and needed to be painted. WiFi was good and location was good. Is not worth what they charge.
The apartment was nicely furnished, comfortable and in good location.
This house was fine as long as you know what you're expecting. The furnishings are basic, but fine. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and dishes, but not even a starter pack of coffee. It's 3rd floor, which we knew, at the top of a steep hill. That's important if you're planning to walk. The bathroom has a slanted ceiling and if you're close to 6 feet, it will be awkward. If you're a hair and makeup person, this place is not for you as the bathroom has shelving, but it isn't a usable counter.
Good location. Clean and comfortable bed/furniture. Don't recommend for tall people or anyone with any kind of mobility issues, even minor. Stairs are steep and narrow, difficult to maneuver with suitcases. Bathroom is not good for tall people. Only place to stand straight is in the tub/shower or right beside it. Also make sure correct entry codes are given, as there are 2 doors to enter. We received 1 code that did not work on either door.
