Take morning strolls to explore the hiking trails in the 600-acre Fenderson Wildlife Commons, spend an afternoon or two antiquing in downtown Wells nine miles east, or take an 11-mile drive to sunbathe and swim in the ocean at Ogunquit Beach, Crescent Beach, or Footbridge Beach.

An ideal escape for summer vacationers or fall foliage enthusiasts, this home offers casual comfort with views of the lake and forest. Begin each morning with homemade pancakes in the full kitchen (with a dishwasher) and six-person dining space, use the free WiFi to check the day's weather report.

The dock is seasonal and available from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

The fireplaces are not operational.
