This was exactly what I was looking for - so close to so many restaurants and bars, and the beds were so comfortable!

This place hasn’t got plug-in smells to cover up bad smells. I appreciate the sheets and linens not having that all pervasive toxic smell that comes with many detergents and dryer sheets. We always use unscented. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

⭐️ 1-Star Review: A Birthday Surprise Turned Into a Dangerous, Traumatizing Experience I booked this rental as a surprise birthday getaway for my fiancé, hoping to give him a peaceful, relaxing time by the coast. What was meant to be a special celebration quickly turned into a traumatic and painful experience that we’ll never forget—for all the wrong reasons. While staying here, a bathroom cabinet that was mounted over the toilet suddenly fell and crashed down onto my fiancé’s left ankle and foot. He had simply opened the cabinet and was facing it when it collapsed—no warning, no loose screws, no visible sign that it was unstable. The entire fixture just fell straight down with force, causing a serious injury. We ended up in the ER on his birthday, where he was told he would need crutches, a medical boot, and an MRI to assess the damage. The pain he was in was unlike anything he’s experienced, and the trip was completely ruined. Instead of enjoying our time together, we spent the day in a hospital and the rest of the trip dealing with the aftermath of his injury. What makes this even worse is that this wasn’t the only problem with the rental. The top bunk bed squeaked loudly with every small movement, keeping our daughter awake and making sleep nearly impossible. The overall feel of the unit was rushed and poorly maintained. It was clear that corners were cut and safety was not a priority. The emotional stress this caused—not just for him, but for our family—was heartbreaking. I was devastated to see the man I love in so much pain on what was supposed to be a joyful, peaceful birthday celebration. It could have been so much worse if our daughter had been in that bathroom instead of him. We are currently documenting everything, including medical reports, photos of the injury, and MRI results, and we’re considering legal action due to the seriousness of the situation. To anyone considering staying here: don’t. It’s not worth the risk. No vacation rental should ever leave a guest injured and traumatized. The owners need to take full accountability and fix these serious safety issues immediately before someone else gets hurt.

I stayed at this rental recently and overall had a positive experience. The location is excellent—convenient and easy to get around, while still being quiet enough to relax. The space itself was bright, welcoming, and had a pleasant atmosphere. Cleanliness was mostly great throughout the property, and it felt well cared for. That said, the kitchen could use a bit more attention—specifically the inside and outside of the cabinets and the fridge could benefit from a deeper clean. Nothing major, but worth mentioning for future guests. All in all, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I’d consider returning again.
