This is wonderful lodge for close family or friends to vacation and enjoy. It felt open and grand with the high ceilings and there is plenty of room for people to have their own space or to gather in communal space. The location itself is quiet, tucked in and private while the beach is only a barefoot walk down a short wooded stretch away, It is located on a dead end.

The house is spacious and our family found it to be comfortable. The location is great since it’s only a short walk to the beach. We had a great time, despite the house being far from perfectly clean. We would expect better for this level of rental.

The house has a wonderful open floor plan with tons of windows and light. Plenty of space to spread out. You find it hard to go anyplace it is so peaceful and we loved just staying home and getting lobster and enjoying the wonderful space. Kitchen is huge with plenty of working space and table is very large. We were a small group 3 adults and 1 child, but you could easily have 8 to 10 people comfortably. As to the distance to restaurants and stores, all within a 10 to 15 minute lovely drive through the countryside. Just a perfect stay in Maine.
