The location is amazing, definitely close to a lot and basically 5 minutes from Drake's Island Beach which is so peaceful. Place is very basic and nothing exciting, but exactly what we needed for A 3 night stay. Couldn't beat the price and location
It was very easy to book. The room was very clean and comfortable. We will be staying here again in the future.
You can’t beat the location! This unit is centrally located and close to everything, whether it be Portland or the beaches. The indoor pool and clubhouse were super fun for my kids. The unit itself needed some updates. The main bed was reasonably comfortable but the pullout futon was very uncomfortable. We appreciated that there were lots of extra beach towels for the pool. We also loved that the Roku TV allowed us to login to our Netflix, YouTube and Peacock accounts. One thing we noticed is a very strong scent of moth balls. We got used to it, but it was super strong whenever we’d return to the unit after exploring. If your goal is to save money by cooking meals at the unit, be warned that it’s very poorly stocked. There was one decent frying pan, one decent large pot and a reasonable array of Pyrex baking dishes. No colander, baking sheets, measuring spoons or steamer basket. We had to simplify our meals significantly, which wasn’t necessarily a bad thing but I would have traveled with a few cooking staples if I had known. We were also only provided one garbage bag for an entire week. We bought a box at Hannaford and left them there for the next guest. Overall, we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay, but we wouldn’t stay at this unit again.
Overall, this location was very clean and well stocked. The beds/pillows were very comfortable. The place was decorated nicely. The clubhouse was nice and so was the pool. However, that's where the pros conclude. The screen door on the screened in porch had screening lose over half of the area. We also had one lamp in the living/sleeping area and that didn't have a working light bulb in it. There was a crack in the glass coffee carafe. The exterior of the building was dirty. The front storm door closer to the apartment was so tight the screws eventually came loose and the closer fell off during our stay. And finally, the last issue was that the only skillet for cooking had an extremely loose handle on it, which made it difficult to handle & serve hot food.
We loved the convenience, the DVD collect, and the elsa cup!
