This house was very comfortable. Had a nice yard and multiple areas for hanging out. Very close to Augusta and not too far from the coast for a day trip. Kitchen large and easy to use. Used the Kayaks - very relaxing. Would stay again.
This house was a great place to stay. The only issue for our stay was that we had a boat and there was no place to leave the boat for easy access. In saying that we were fortunate to have family renting a house right on the lake and we could leave our boat there. If you are not traveling with a boat this place was a nice house with plenty of space for a whole family. It has all the dishes you need and a yard to play games in. It was dog friendly which was a big deal for us. It has plenty of parking for everyone. It was very clean and comfortable for all of us. One drawback would be the trek to get down to the beach. It’s quite a long trek to get there and not easy for most seniors. Otherwise it was a nice place to stay.
Location was decent
The main kitchen/living/dining room area has big windows, lots of natural light, and was well furnished to accommodate 6 people. It was clean, had good hot water, and the heating was responsive. However the updates to the house need finishing touches and most bedrooms needed some additional furnishings (bedside tables, lamps, luggage racks, a chair.)
A perfect spot to relax and spend some quiet time. A great location with perfect access to Greater Augusta and surrounding areas. Enjoyed our stay….the Fall foliage provided a great background for an extended weekend.
Nightlights appreciated.
