Overall, we had a good stay and really enjoyed the inside of the property. It was clean, nicely decorated, and very spacious—plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably. There was even a giant JBL speaker, which was awesome for karaoke! However, there were a few issues that impacted our experience. The driveway was extremely icy, and unfortunately, one of my friends slipped and scraped his arms pretty badly. Some salt or better ice management would really help prevent this in the future. The walls and doors are paper thin—you can hear every single footstep and conversation from down the hall, even with your door closed. This made privacy and quiet time very difficult. This was a pretty big issue for everyone who stayed, and I don’t see how it could be resolved without major renovation. The biggest disappointment, though, was the hot tub. We weren’t informed it wasn’t working until we were already on our way up. I understand that since we booked far in advance, this likely wasn’t something they could have predicted, but it was still a letdown—especially since we were specifically searching for properties with a hot tub. Additionally, the kitchen was lacking in basic cooking pans and quality cooking utensils, which made preparing meals more difficult than expected. That said, the interior itself was lovely, and we still made the best of it. If I could give 3.5 stars for this specific stay, I probably would—but since that isn’t an option, I’m giving 3 stars. For the price we paid, I expected more, and the paper-thin walls and doors were nearly a dealbreaker.
