We enjoyed our serene time in Maine at Garstone Place. The property is pure Maine beauty on a gorgeous lake. Eagles visited and loons called out. We lounged on the dock (and deck) for hours soaking up the sun and fall colors lining the shore. The property is well-situated for day trips to Acadia National Park, Maine Cabin Master’s store, the Lost Kitchen, among others. Inside the house we had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms and appreciated the use of a washer and dryer. If I had known how well-stocked the home was, I wouldn’t have needed to pack so meticulously. I really appreciated the owner’s attention to the details of travelers’ needs.
The view is one of a kind, and the pond quiet, great for relaxing.
The setting is peaceful, quiet and pretty. It’s a good house for two adults or a small family. Kitchen has everything you need. The deck is a good place to enjoy the water views.
Quiet and serene. This rustic spot is perfect for those who want to get away from the noise of crowded vacation accommodations. Great views from the dock of the night sky!!!
All home nice and clean 👌
We loved this home, the lake access, the dock, the kayaking, the fishing. This home was perfect for our family of three and so enjoyed the views. Proximal to breweries and restaurants; as well as cute towns such as Waterville and Belfast. We would certainly rent again.
