Overview
Find serene beauty, a secluded-yet-convenient location, and gorgeous views of Worromontogus Lake at this one-bedroom, lakefront property just outside downtown Augusta.
This rustic, lakefront escape is one half (the main floor) of a two-level home. Here on the banks of Togus Pond - as this 654-acre lake is known locally - it's not uncommon to spot bald eagles, geese, beavers, and turtles. It's also a certified wildlife habitat and an ideal home base for those looking to be convenient to Augusta on their way to or from Acadia National Park.
Step inside to find a window-lined interior living space, where you can take in a view of the lake from nearly every room. There's a full kitchen where you can prepare breakfast each morning, decks on both sides of the house that are wonderful for sipping coffee, and even a provided canoe to take out for a relaxing paddle. The rest of the day can be spent reading in the sunroom, relaxing in the living room, enjoying the Roku TV, and gathering with your loved ones around the outdoor fire pit.

Beautiful cabin in the woods. Wonderful place to get away from hustle and bustle of life
First the key touch pad didn’t work , the deadbolt was hard to work the key would spin and spin when trying to lock or unlock door, the water smelled of sly, there wasn’t drinkable water the did send some, dirty areas, ants, had to use a stepping stool to get in & out of the shower, at 5ish in the morning got bit by ants in my bed, I left a day early
Loved the setting by the lake and the seating in the pine trees
The tenants upstairs are not welcoming to guests.
The cabin was simple but charming! I enjoyed my stay very much! We were very comfortable.
