We wound up pivoting to Camp on Brandy after other plans had to be changed, and it worked very well for our family vacation, with 6 adults, two kids and an infant. Two of the adults did have to sleep on a futon, which was ok for us. There is a nice MBR suite, including AC (no ac in the rest), then a bedroom and bunk room in the basement. Even in the hottest weather we were comfortable sleeping with the fans they provided. The camp is in a small community of houses and cabins around Brandy Pond. It is NOT lakefront. There is a limited view of the lake, and you have to take a 5 minute walk down the hill to reach the water. The water was beautiful, clean, and the perfect temperature - cool enough to cool you off but not cold like a lot of Maine waters. The location is good, very close to Sebago Lake State Park. Good seafood at both markets and restaurants a few miles down the road, and it took us just over an hour to get to Portland Headlight, so there's plenty of exploring within reach. It was quiet and peaceful, and we were able to spread out enough so the baby wouldn't wake everyone when she cried. We had a GREAT time there as a family, and I will long remember blissfully floating in an inner tube on Brandy Pond on some hot July days.

The house was in the best location for so many things to do. I would recommend maybe updating some of the things inside the home and it was a little deceiving when it says lake access. Yes you can access the lake, but you had to walk a little bit of a way to get there and we didn’t actually know which road to take. It would be nice to have some type of map inside the property just to give you a little heads up on where you’re walking to so you don’t walk to private property. Maybe some new mattresses and pillows but other than that we had a wonderful time and I would definitely consider renting again

The beach is only a short walk away from the house. The porch, patio, and outdoor fire pit made it much easier to enjoy time outside. Would definitely stay here again

Short walk to the water. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Very safe and pleasant surrounding neighborhood. We loved it!
