Rustic is a great description of this home. I'll start with what was nice. The layout was good, the views were fabulous, the sauna worked great and location was great for us. The disappointing aspects were the interior has not been updated since it was built. The furniture is well worn and the TV's are 25 years old and very small. The 14" tv in the master bedroom didn't even work. The stereo system was a Sony CD player which we never used. Who buys CD's anymore? The wifi was weak and spotty. There was no patio furniture to enjoy the beautiful weather. Pots pans silverware etc all there but old. The toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags were the least expensive you could buy. We went and bought our own. We've stayed at older homes that felt like 5 star resorts becase the owners put a little money into the things that make a stay pleasant such as nice toilet paper and paper towels, basic cleaning supplies, high quality towels and decent TV's and Wifi. Just making sure things work properly would be nice. We spent 6 nights a the home and requested a noon check out which was 2 hours past the specified time of 10:00. We were told NO. There wasn't anyone on the calendar for the next month. they changed the door code on Sunday and didn't tell us. The code to the garage never worked. With a little updating and some attention to details this could be a really nice rental home.

Location is wonderful. I would rent it again. As I mentioned, twin beds in the "double bed" room would be a great improvement.

This unit could not have been more perfectly situated!! The back deck overlooking the Tetons, 15 minutes from Jackson Hole, 5 minutes from the airport and also close to Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone! Cozy home with everything you need! Would book again in a heartbeat!
