Close to airport and grand teton park. Easy to get downtown Jackson hole and wildlife viewing.
My daughter and I have used this cabin several years in a row and keep coming back because it is such a relaxing place to spend time. It has beautiful views of the Tetons and is frequently visited by local wildlife. This is our favorite getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.
This is my second visit in 2 consecutive years. And I plan to return again sometime next year. This cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay: washer/dryer, iron, coffee, full kitchen utensils, wifi, bath soaps, etc. (In fact I packed for a week in 2 carry-ons and saved myself the hassle of baggage claims.) The scenery is stunning. Situated in close proximity to Jackson Hole, the Wildlife Museum, and Elk Reserve, Grand Teton Park (my personal favorite) and Yellowstone (a must see). Treated well by townspeople and people associated with the vacation rental. Rent a car for short excursions to town and surrounding sites, and enjoy walks around the quiet neighborhood. PS the cabin contains a nice selection of interesting books. And a large screen TV, albeit we never turned it on. Very comfortable cabin with all the amenities.
The Director’s Cabin felt like home to our family. The books, artwork, and memorabilia add to the ambiance and It is a wonderful place to come back to after a day of adventures. In addition, the beautiful views every morning and evening from the deck along with elk in the nearby fields enhanced our family’s time together.
The cabin is located right off the road that leads to Teton and Yellowstone, and is about 10 minutes outside of Jackson. Looking at the online pictures of the cabin, I thought it was a stand-alone cabin, but it's connected to another unit. The cabin is dated, but well stocked and comfortable. The cleaning crew needs to dust and pay closer attention to cleanliness. In any case, the view on the deck is amazing with Elk often seen in the field.
We loved everything about the cabin! The deer came by daily, the view was awesome, the beds comfortable, the perfect location! We will be back!
