This is an excellent property in an excellent location! Will stay there again.
Except for the relative lack of views, the location is within walking distance of the base area, though too far to walk with skis. The nearby Poma lift would be handy in a good snow year, but not in early April 2026. The condo was clean on arrival. It could definitely use an update, because everything just feels old and tired. Racks missing on the refrigerator door, shower valve that was really hard to wrangle, wobbly dresser drawers, creaky doors. All the bathroom fans are very noisy, especially the downstairs fan, which sounds like a train rumbling by with screechy wheels. Running two showers (there are 3) at the same time was an adventure in hot/cold temp regulation.
We absolutely loved this place, the location, clean, perfect space, and best of all Freddy the fox visits!
Plenty on space for the four of us. Probably should have brought friends we had so much room. I’d you’re looking for ski in/ski out this is one of the best places in the area. We also found the walk to the base for dinner very easy. Just a cozy spot to end a great day of skiing.
Located close to poma so could literally ski in ski out. Beds comfortable, appliances modern and rustic Montana feel. Would highly recommend for one or two families with kids (bunk beds room great).
Our family of 6 had a great vacation at Big Horn 65. Plenty of beds, dishes, and seating for everyone. It was warm and cozy during snow storms. The entryway is excellently appointed for handling all the equipment that comes with skiing. That's a great touch. The Poma lift was being updated during our stay, so we could not ski-in/ski-out, but the unit is close enough that my husband dropped us all off at the main lifts, parked the car in the garage (big enough to fit an Expedition) and walked back up to the base. It was a wonderful experience. We were thankful the unit even had humidifiers. Easy check-in/out. Thank you!
