This was exactly what we needed! Close to the mountains and a beautiful view of the lake during our stay!
Very nice well maintained condo. Quiet neighborhood with great access to the lake, downtown, and the mountain!
Convenient location to downtown and SkiWhitefish. Great view of the lake. HotTub was out of order, other guests noted this was their experience too. Clean, but experienced. Heaters banged when starting up and would hear the train whistles a few times overnight. They had nightlights which are great for navigating. All appliances were functional and clean.
The support woman was helpful to a point such as creating/trying a new keypad code and getting a standard key from the deck table lock box.
Honestly I would give this property a 4.5 only because it's a little older but since half-stars aren't available and rentals in wooded/nature areas are often a bit older I rounded up to 5 stars. It is very clean and in a very private lakeside area while only being a 7-10 minute drive to the heart of downtown Whitefish. Texted instructions re entry, wifi passwords, etc were completely accurate. Checkout was easy to do. This apartment is not a brand new build so it has an older feel; it's a bit darker given the lack of any recessed lighting and there aren't a ton of electrical sockets. Again, this is common for older homes and not reflective of any poor quality of this particular rental. The bedroom windows face the parking lot so you will hear a bit of peripheral noise as other tenants start their day moving their cars in the morning. The location was great - the lake is very peaceful and pretty. There are ample deer and birds around the property which makes for a nice ambience. It was consistently a 55 minute drive to the West Glacier entrance and there are many decent restaurants in Whitefish.
The furniture was all pretty comfortable. We had 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Loved having access to the pool and hot tub. They were both very clean. Saw deer almost every day. Also had some huge wild turkeys visit and climb the pine trees, dropping branches and debris on the back porch. But, it was entertaining. Parking was tight near 17A. There were a couple of larger trucks that didn’t fit perpendicular to the building and had to park at an angle. This limited parking. We also visited during a hot week, low 90’s, so we had to run the AC and a fan in the bedroom. They were loud. But, I would stay here again.
