The property was repeatedly praised for being very clean, neat, and well supplied. Its location stood out as a major highlight, with easy access to Sun Valley, downtown, skiing, the lodge, shops, restaurants, and nearby activities, while also offering a quiet and peaceful setting. Guests also appreciated the lovely grounds, including flowers, ponds, streams, and a covered patio that added to the enjoyable atmosphere. Thoughtful features such as updated appliances, en suite bedrooms, easy entry, and access to the lodge pool helped make Cozy Cottonwood Getaway a place many guests would gladly return to.

Nestled in the heart of Sun Valley proper, this residence exudes charm. With a peaceful setting and the privacy of a ground floor corner unit, guests will appreciate this ideal condo location just across the road from the Sun Valley Resort. Less than five minutes stroll away from the ice rinks and the Pavilion, these are the venues for the popular celebrity ice shows, free summer concerts, symphony, and jazz festivals.

For winter guests, personal ski storage at the condo offers convenience and free Mountain Ride shuttles at the village circle (next to the Pavilion) gets skiers to the slopes or downtown Ketchum in no time.

Finished with a stone tile entrance and nice carpets, the condo has stainless appliances in a kitchen of pine wood cabinetry and granite countertops. The deck that opens directly to the garden offers the calming sound of a flowing stream, rustling leaves of the birch trees, presenting a relaxing atmosphere around the condo in summer.

We had a great time staying here in Sun Valley.

The listing didn't really make it clear but this condo has two en suite rooms. The king beds were extremely comfortable. Considering how spread out things in the Sun Valley area are, the location is really great. Particularly if you have a car. Small washer and dryer were nice to have. It would be nice if they went to a digital deadbolt instead of a manual keybox by the garage. Some people might call it dated but it was comfortable and functional.

Read the instructions on how to access the unit carefully. There was a broken deadbolt lock to the back porch so the doors were wide open upon our arrival. Took a little bit for the place to warm up but when I went to put items in the dryer I noticed that the duct doesn’t exhaust to the outdoors. This was even more concerning than the broken lock. We ended up placing the couch in front of the door over night. The on call maintenance man did offer to come fix that but it was already 9pm and 10 degrees out. We just wanted to get warm. We left by 9 am the next day. Even though the stay was short I don’t think we will rent this particular unit again.
