Valley Gem Entire Home was described as a great and beautiful place to stay, offering a comfortable layout that worked especially well for groups wanting both shared time and private space. Guests appreciated the comfortable atmosphere, including a cozy bed with a warm duvet. The home was noted as clean and well equipped with what guests needed. Its location was praised for convenient access to nearby attractions. Guests also enjoyed the patio dining area and the pond, which added to the overall experience. This bright, airy, three-level condo makes for the perfect family or friends getaway, with plenty of space to spread out or be together. Start your tour on the self-contained bottom level, which features a cozy layout and mountain-modern decor - ideal for anyone in your group looking for a bit more privacy. On breezy days, coffee at the bistro table on the covered deck is in order. Back inside, there's a convenient kitchenette with a mini-fridge, a microwave, and a four-burner oven. When it's time to get cozy for the night, a sofa and a TV are on this level.

Upstairs, you'll find the main living space with a large sofa, a TV, and a gas fireplace, perfect for those cooler winter evenings. The well-equipped kitchen offers all the gadgets and appliances you need to cook up full meals, which you can enjoy at the adjacent dining table or out on this level's deck when the weather is nice, taking in the condo's park-like setting. Another fun feature is the balcony off of the third-floor bedroom, straight from a scene in Romeo and Juliet.

No matter the season, you'll be spoiled for choice when it comes to outdoor activities. With Dollar Mountain just half a mile down the road and Sun Valley Ski Resort just 4.5 miles away, you'll have world-class skiing practically at your doorstep. In the summer months, take advantage of premier fly fishing and the many hiking trails nearby. There are extensive hiking and biking trail systems just a short drive away in the Sun Valley area as well. Not only that, but the complex also features a newly renovated seasonal pool and hot tub, and you'll find tennis and pickleball as well. Inside your condo or outside exploring, it's time to make some memories at Valley Gem!

Things to Know

You are not allowed to park trailers or RVs due to the small parking lot. A 4x4 or AWD vehicle may be required to reach this condo in winter.

Elkhorn Amenities available on Seasonal Basis. Elkhorn and Harker Center Pools are closed mid September through end of November and mid April until Memorial Day.

You must be 21 years or older to rent this property.

This is actually a three story townhouse that can be divided into two units. Unit B is a Queen bedroom and second bedroom on the ground floor, with the second bedroom having been converted to a kitchen apartment that we did not use. Unit A is the main and top floor which can be separated from Unit B by a locked door. In Unit A, there are two bedrooms (one King, one Queen) and a full bath upstairs. The other full bath is on the main floor near the kitchen. The most private bath was in Unit B. There is no primary bedroom. Guests should be certain they can navigate stairs easily. The kitchen and dining area were small but adequate.

Very close walk to the hot tub and sauna… location to dollar Mtn was great! The 3 bathrooms, 1 on each floor was nice! TVs in each room was good!

Our family of six used the top two floors for while grandma and grandpa had the suite on the ground floor. We would meet for meals and dmaiyl time and then our two families could separate when the kids needed some downtime or the grandparents needed some quiet time. We all enjoyed the patio dining and the kids all caught fish in the pond!

Condo is 3 stories with locked doors in between. Middle floor is a small living area and kitchen. We arrived with middle door locked but someone reached out with key access after a while. The place was difficult to find with no map of the property and no lights on building letters. Finally figured out it was building F but instructions should include this. We walked around condos in 10 degrees at night trying to find a map somewhere. When we arrived there was debris on carpets and garbage cans were still full. We’re unsure if sheets were clean. We were told we would get reimbursed for dirty unit, waiting to hear… The positives: location is good and bus stop to ski resorts close by. It was quiet.
